Good Morning AI Runners 🏃‍♂️

Here's what we've got for you today:

  • Microsoft and OpenAI In Person Event

  • Google: hold my Bard

  • ChatGPT Jailbreak: Scoring System.

Microsoft and OpenAI In Person Event

Microsoft is hosting an event at its headquarters in Redmond today (10AM PT / 1PM ET), with the main focus being on its collaboration with OpenAI and the use of ChatGPT for Bing.

OpenAI: Let’s call it ChatGPT. That has to be the least catchy name possible

Google: hold my bard

@WholeMarsBlog

Google's boss man Sundar Pichai just spilled the beans on Bard, their new AI chat bot, in a blog linked above.

This chat bot is not a stranger to you, our reader, as we have already leaked the news in our previous post, published 5 days ago!

Right now, it's only available to a select crew of testers, but soon enough, everyone will be able to join in on the fun (and the comparison game).

This new ChatGPT "jailbreak" was posted on Reddit. It's pretty cool, they've got a scoring system set up so every time the model does something it shouldn't, it loses points. And once it reaches zero points, well, it's basically game over for the model. It's like a little in-context reinforcement learning adventure.
