TikTok is testing a new feature that lets users create AI-generated avatars for their profile pictures. This new tool uses AI to generate stylized, illustrated images based on users' uploaded photos. While the feature is only available to a few users at the moment, users can upload 3-10 photos of themselves and generate up to 30 avatars with up to 5 different styles.

Plus, they raised $97.4 million in funding and announced some major upgrades, including production-grade deployments straight from the IDE and a more powerful workspace. It looks like Replit is on the fast track to AI unicorn status.
