Anthropic, an AI startup, just raked in a cool $300 million in funding from Spark Capital. That brings their pre-investment value up to a jaw-dropping $4.1 billion. Not bad for a two-year-old company that's barely made a dime. They're the same startup that Google invested a whopping $400 million in earlier, even the giants know they need to stay on their toes in this rapidly evolving market.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has shocked everyone by doing a complete 180 and calling for regulation of artificial intelligence (AI). They want to make sure it doesn't hinder growth or become a security risk - a rare instance of the business world wanting more rules. Although there isn't much AI legislation yet, lawmakers are getting worried about ChatGPT, Deep fakes being available for everyone, and copyright infringement.

Ruth Card received a call from a man claiming to be her grandson Brandon. He said he was in jail and needed bail money, and the man sounded just like Brandon. Without hesitation, Card did everything she could to help him...he's her grandson after all?

This new "category" of scams makes for a good crime podcast show. I would 100% subscribe.
