Microsoftās Azure cloud server unit is launching a new version of ChatGPT thatās focused on keeping individual customer data separate and secure. Itāll be a remote server that wonāt interact with the main system, so itās perfect for businesses like banks and healthcare institutions who want to protect their sensitive information.
In this newsletter written by Ethan Mollick, he talks about the recent expansion in the capabilities of GPT-4 and its increasing relevance to real-world tasks. Ethan highlights one of the new capabilities of GPT-4, the code interpreter plugin, which allows the AI to read files, download files, and run its own Python code.
Chegg, the edtech company, had a bit of a rough tuesday when their shares took a nosedive. And what's the cause, you may ask? Well, the CEO of Chegg, Dan Rosensweig, warned that the free ChatGPT has been stealing the spotlight during midterm and final season and that it was cutting into Cheggās growth. Not to be outdone, Chegg has announced their own AI tool, CheggMate, Powered by OpenAI's GPT-4.
